DV 2009 Results

DV 2009 Results were announced to the winners with further instructions in 2008 between the months of May and July. Regular postal was mail only used to announce the result to the individuals to their addresses which were submitted in the EDV apply forms by them.

Please take note that winners will not be notified by E-mail or Phone or Fax.
In the winning notification you will get further instructions in the postal mail Such as paying the Visa fee and the Diversity processing fee to the Embassy or consulate at the time of interview, where they will give you official receipt for the payments.

You will not be requested to send money by post, western union or any other money service. If any one asks you to send money don't respond to it.

Also you have to provide letter from a relative or friend in USA to support you to prevent you from becoming a public Charge.

If you don't know to fill the forms you can get assistance from Immigration lawyers or Immigration consultants. Finally if you don't have the required education/work experience according to the requirements, don't proceed with the processing.

The DV2009 lottery accepted entries from eligible people in the year 2007 for a period of 60 days and it is now closed. Nearly 9.1 million people applied for this dv 2009 green card lottery and 99,600 people were selected as winners by the computer in the random draw and informed them as winners. Also they were instructed with further instruction and related visa fees according to the dv 2009 results.

Visas processing interview will start from October 2008 to August 2009.
Eligible winners will be issued with visas till September 2009. No visas will be issued after September 2009 for the diversity visa 2009 program.
